The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces with its headquarters in New Delhi, India. It is open to school and college students on a voluntary basis as a Tri-Services Organisation, comprising the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force, engaged in developing the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The Soldier Youth Foundation in India is a voluntary organization that recruits cadets from high schools, higher secondary, colleges, and universities all over India. The cadets are given basic military training in small arms and drill. The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course.
For the Collage Battalion served as the Cadet Under Officer (CUO) for the entire college of cadets.
Cadet Under Officer is the top rank conferred cadet in the company and administers the power to control the company under the guidance of ANO and PI staff. CUO reports the strength of the parade to the instructor and ANO whenever class takes place. He continuously analyzes the problems faced by cadets and tries to solve them ASAP. He tries his best to make best use of time and resources for his company.
Being the leader of his troop he may organise events at the college or city level after getting permission from the competent authority.
Organizer of a National level event that had 1000+ participants where Army Deputy General JJ Singh was the host for the event.
Only parting the training to cadets is not only motive but to carry out the best in a cadet in his tenure to develop leadership skills and officer-like qualities.
